With over 20 years of experience across B2B technology, SaaS, cybersecurity, AI-driven platforms, healthcare services and distribution, Joe has built and led $100M+ businesses, driven successful exits, and helped organizations reduce owner dependency while achieving sustainable growth.

As the Growth Advisor & Managing Partner at JOVA Ventures, Joe specializes in helping startups and mid-sized companies professionalize their operations, implement AI-driven tools, and position themselves for long-term success. His expertise lies in scaling businesses through strategic acquisitions, optimizing processes, and ensuring companies are exit-ready—whether through private equity, M&A, or organic growth.

Before JOVA Ventures, Joe served as CEO of Metal Networks.AI, where he developed the industry’s first patent-pending AI technology, JAQI®, a game-changing innovation for industrial B2B markets. Under his leadership, the company positioned itself as a market leader, driving digital transformation and attracting strategic acquisition interest.

Previously, as Managing Partner at Interwork Technologies, Joe oversaw a $100M cybersecurity software distribution business, where he scaled revenues from $40M to $100M, increased EBITDA tenfold, and secured two private equity exits with a remarkable 4x ROI. His ability to create sustainable growth while enhancing operational efficiency set new benchmarks in the industry.

Joe’s strategic leadership was also evident during his tenure at Ingram Micro, where he launched and grew the Wireless and Mobility division in Canada, generating $100M+ in revenue within 36 months. His innovative approach to distribution, partnerships with major wireless carriers, and the launch of Canada’s first Distribution Activation Program cemented his reputation as a business builder.

Beyond his executive roles, Joe actively contributes to industry advancement as an Advisory Board Member for Optimy.ai and CyberLucent. He also serves as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU), mentoring early-stage startups in securing funding and achieving product-market fit.

A recognized leader, Joe holds an Executive MBA from Athabasca University, where he graduated with the Highest GPA Award. His accolades include multiple Canadian Business Excellence Awards and recognition for fostering collaborative, high-performance cultures.
